Seminar – Formation of the LCMS
April 22, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - April 23, 2016 @ 5:00 pm
Join us April 22-23rd at Camp IoDisECa for a retreat/seminar on The Formation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. This seminar is based on the book published by the CLCC. It will be presented by Pr. Rob Jarvis of Hosanna Lutheran, Buffalo MN. The camp is located in eastern Iowa, just north of Iowa City.
The presentation, The Formation of the LCMS is intended to help the laity learn the history of our synod up to the present age, while at the same time, raising the thought that all laity, especially our own fellow parishioners, would benefit from knowing our church’s history.
The seminar starts at 7PM Friday evening and ends at 5PM Saturday. Cost is $75 per person; lodging, two meals on Saturday, and a copy of the book is included. Cost for husband/wife is $135 (one book included). Additional books are $15. A program-only rate of $48 is available for those close enough to stay elsewhere.
Registration must be submitted by April 18th to allow for purchases of food.
Linens and towels are not provided by the camp (bring a sleeping bag and pillow or equivalent).
For information on the seminar can be found here, for information on the camp click here. Fill out the form online or mail your check with payment and name of attendees to CLCC, 9449 N. 15th E. Idaho Falls, ID 83401.
